ARDMORE-Limestone County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Limestone County man for sex abuse charges on Thursday, October 1.
Investigators arrested Robert Erik McAfee, 49 of Ardmore early Thursday morning and charged him with with sexual abuse of a child under 12.
Investigation by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office of McAfee began after the child disclosed to a family member that McAfee had been molesting the child for several years.
McAfee is in the Limestone County jail awaiting a bond hearing.
