Antoinette Marie Schmitt Bristol, age 96, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Bristol’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Bristol was born August 7, 1929, in Chicago, IL, to the late Elbert and Alvina Schmitt. She was a 1950 graduate from The Ohio State University and was the School Administrator at Springfield High School for many years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bristol was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elmer Bristol, Jr.; and a brother, Raymond Schmitt.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Elmer Bristol, III, of Powder Springs, GA, Ronald Eric Bristol of Chicago, IL, Robert Elliott Bristol of Marietta, GA, Richard Ellis-Antony Bristol of Lone Tree, CO, and Dr, Reagan Evan Albert Bristol of Sandusky, OH; and 8 grandchildren.
