A Memorial Service for Antionette Rubino Grossman, 90, of Ashland will be Sunday, May 31, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland. Pastor Chris Agee will officiate.

Born April 19, 1935 in White Plains, N.Y., she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Married in 1955, she was a model for Sonotone, Electra Voice, and General Foods (now part of Kraft-Heinz). She was dedicated to her family, her church, and her community.

In 1977, she moved with her family to Alabaster, AL for a better and slower way of life. She helped her husband with his business while running successful businesses of her own.

After his passing, she moved to Ashland, AL. It was here that she found her talent and love for sketching and painting. She attended art classes on the square, learning her craft.

As always, her love for Jesus kept her involved in her church and community until she could no longer drive and was home bound. Her faith kept her strong and continued until her death in the early morning hours of April 15, 2026.

She is survived by 2 Daughters: Linda Thacker (Alan) and Donna Wesley; Grandchildren: Christen Files (Ryan), Jesslyn Johnson Blake (Robert) and Tiffany Horn (Kevin); Great Grandchildren: Eli Files, Graham Files, Grayson Horn and Milo Horn.

Preceded in death by her Parents – Nancy Cassavecca Errico, Emanuel Errico, Stepmother Rose Errico; Husband – Donald Grossman; Brothers – Emanuel Errico, Jr., (Beverly), Jerry Errico (Dianne), Victor Errico (Helen), Tony Errico; Sisters – Jeannie Cassavecca, Emily Errico, Jennie Barnett (Donald), Conech Errico; Grandson – Johnny Johnson, Jr.
