Anthony Lorn Jeffreys, 76, joined his heavenly Father on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
Lorn was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Jeffreys and a special grandson Josh. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Jeffreys and Georgia and Neal Portwood, as well as brothers Coy and Wendell Jeffreys. He is survived by his sisters, Mert Angus, Connie Scott, Charlotte Moon and Pam Green and his brother Kenny Jeffreys. Lorn was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Brother Ashley Pettus officiating. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Lorn was a hardworking and simple man, whose life was never easy. Born with an eye condition that prevented him from seeing our beautiful world as others see it with so many vivid sights and colors. He is now sitting at his heavenly Father’s feet in admiration of the divine colors and sights that surround him in Heaven.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Bowen and the CCU department at ECM Hospital; as well as his special friends Jane and Jimmy and all those who loved him at Magnolia II Apartments.
