Annie Yvonne Fulmer, age 88, was born on February 18, 1937, to the late Otto and Gertrude Standridge. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion.
On January 24, 1958, she married the love of her life, Roy Milam Fulmer. Together they built a life centered on faith, commitment, and family.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Gertrude Standridge and three of her beloved children, her twins Stanley Fulmer, Steven Fulmer, and her son Jeff Fulmer.
She is survived by her children Danny (Wendy) Fulmer and Jill Head. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Steven Fulmer, Beth (Aaron) Monroe, Carlos Fulmer, Celeste Fulmer, and Isaac Head. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Brooke Monroe, Jonathon Monroe, Emma Monroe, and Xander Miller, and her great-great-grandchildren Isabella Dicken and Madilynn Dicken.
She is also survived by her sister, Carol Hoffman, her only remaining sibling; and many cherished nieces and nephews who brought her great joy throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her siblings Nell Cashatt, James E. Standridge, Mary Walker, Donald Standridge, Tsianina Crauswell, and Nina Standridge.
Yvonne loved God deeply and loved her family fiercely. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted teacher for over 35 years, shaping the lives of countless students with patience, wisdom, and kindness. She also faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher for many years, pouring scripture and encouragement into generations of children and families.
Her life reflected her unwavering belief in the Lord and her steadfast devotion to those she loved. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, and service that will continue for generations.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026 at Boaz Carr Chapel and she will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Stephen Brown will officiate her service. Pallbearers will be Carlos Fulmer, Steven Fulmer, Isaac Head, Aaron Monroe, Jonathon Monroe and Phil Standridge. The family will accept friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel.
