Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Steed Doyle Cox, age 85, are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palestine Presbyterian Cemetery. Mrs. Cox passed away early Tuesday at her home in Lexington. She was born August 16, 1931 in Henderson County to the late Leonard Steed and Lula Mae Maness Alexander. She was retired from Bill Sills Sportswear. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Doyle and Carl Wayne Cox and two sisters, Mary E. Williams and Nanny Campbell. Survivors include her three sons, Thomas Lynn Doyle (Wanda), Chris Doyle (Penny), and Tracy Doyle (Shelia); two daughters, Gayle Woods and Carla Stickles (Charlie); two brothers, Roy and Dewayne Alexander; two sisters, Madge Richardson and Helen Russell; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
