Annie Ruth Balentine, 86, of Florence, passed away Sept. 16, 2016, at ECM Hospital in Florence. She was a Baptist and a supervisor at Tee Jays.
Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Grisham; sisters, Dona F. Cole, Betty Pettus, Frances Campbell, and Marie Brown; one grandchild, Kayla Oliver (Shawn); and one great-grandchild, Declan Oliver.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas L. Burgess and Julia Irene Robertson Burgess.
Visitation will be today, Sept. 18, 2016 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The service will follow with Tim McCafferty officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Burgess, Stacy Brown, Billy Campbell, Steven Campbell, Greg Burgess, and Glenn Cole. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Cole and Stanley Brown.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
