Funeral services for Mrs. Annie “Memaw” Green, age 87, are scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Green passed away on Saturday, December 20, in Jackson. She was born February 18, 1938 in Franklin County, Tennessee to the late John Calvin Parson and Emma Celina “Katie” Gilliam Parson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers. She loved her weenie dogs, Honey and Dollbaby.
Mrs. Green is survived by three sons, Timmy Green (Staci), Darryl Green, and Jimmy Green (Charlotte); two daughters, Priscilla Mayo and Katrina Doster (Billy); a brother, Robert Parson (Brenda); a sister, Judy Moore; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Tommy Green; two sons, Keith and Mark Green; a daughter, Becky Bowman; and nine siblings.
The family will receive friends on Monday, 11 AM – 10 PM and on Tuesday, 9 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
