Annie Mae Duke, 90 of Addison, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Hendrix Health Care in Double Springs, Alabama.
Annie Mae was born on May 2, 1924 in Phil Campbell, Alabama. She attended Addison School and attended Addison Church of God for many years. She loved gardening and enjoyed being around people. She was a ray of sunshine to all her knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6-8 at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23 at 2pm at Addison Church of God. She will lie in state from 1-2pm. Pastor Rodney Ridgeway will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Annie Mae is survived by her daughter, Rhonda McLeod and her husband Mike; granddaughter, Brandy Blackwood Twele; two great granddaughters, Courtney Woods, Hannah Cason; special nephew, Eugene Duke; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duke; parents, R.T. and Lucinda Cash; brothers, Leonard Cash, Dennis Cash; sisters, Ruby Fincher, Bessie Glover, and Alice Cash.
