Annie Mae Aaron age 89 of Gardendale, passed away Saturday October 15, 2016.
Funeral services will be Monday October 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Curtin will officiate. Burial will follow at West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 11 am-1 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene L. Aaron; son, Jeffrey Aaron; daughter, Kathy York; four brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Mickle (Gordon) of Hueytown; son, Donovan Aaron (Daun) of Gardendale; grandchildren, Chris Aaron (Shauna), Adam York (Maila), John Isaac York (Nicole), Robbie York, Stephanie Amick (Paul), Gordon W. Mickle, III and Meredith Thigpen (Art); seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Wanda Piper and Lona Phillips.
