Annie Lois Murphree, age 83 of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Her family will receive friends Sunday, January 15, 2017, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Morrison
Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. George Sansbury officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mrs. Murphree was a life-long resident of Colbert County. She was a member of the Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Alden Murphree; son, Gary Laray Murphree; parents, Carl and Lena Agee; brother, Bobby Agee; and sister, Jewell Offord.
She is survived by her daughters; Beverly Hollander (Tim), Debbie Goss (Shane), Marsha Sorrell (Allen), four grandsons, three granddaughters, four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and sisters, Joyce Rose and Shirley Cornett.
Pallbearers are Caleb Hollander, Josh Hollander, Josh West, Arthur Wayne Chandler and Tyler Vinson.
