Mrs. Annette Lorene Battles, 93 of Elder Street, Boaz, died Friday, April 15, 2016 Shepherd’s Cove. Funeral service was Saturday, April 16, 2016; One o’clock p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Jones officiating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Battles was born in Alabama on January 6, 1923 to J. H. & Florence Baker Reynolds. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Battles is survived by her Daughter: Mary Jones of Boaz, Grandson: Ben & Angel Jones of Boaz, Great Grandchildren: Evan Jones, Ella Jones and Emma Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents: J. H. & Florence Reynolds, Husband: Harry Battles and 2 brothers.
