Anna Ruth Wilson Michael, age 90, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022.
She was born December 20, 1931 in Huntsville, AL. Anna was a homemaker and a Huntsville Police Department school crossing guard at Huntsville Middle School for many years.
Anna was lovingly cared for by her son, Mark, whom she referred to as her “rock”.
Survivors include her son, Mark Michael, his wife Wendy and their two children, Brandon and Emmy; son Ken Michael and his family; sister Helen Morgan (Cecil); and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death, one day shy of 49 years, by her husband, Rayboun Michael; parents Florence and Zelma Wilson; brothers Buddy, Brown and Richard Wilson; and sisters Frances Russo, Gayle Butler and Elizabeth Wilson.
A graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Tim Cole officiating.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Huntsville Hospital Hospice for their loving care of Anna in her final weeks.
