Anna Lea Davis Hill – Obituary

Anna Lea Davis Hill, 47, of Burnsville, MS, died Friday, February 20, 2015, in Glen, MS. Mrs. Hill was a longtime member of Berea Church of Christ and was more recently a member of the Iuka Church of Christ. She worked as a mental health professional at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Freed-Hardeman University and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Anna enjoyed watching her children play sports, cooking, and shopping. She also enjoyed riding horses and decorating. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, at Berea Church of Christ. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, at Berea Church of Christ, officiated by Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Burcham Davis/Hill Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her husband, David Hill; two sons, Davis Hill and Tucker Hill; and two daughters, Briley Hill and Raylea Hill, all of Burnsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gloria Briley Davis; her paternal grandparents, Elton and Fannie Mae Davis; and her maternal grandparents, Kelmer and Mary Frances Newcomb.
