annaAnna Jean Smith, 68, of Moscow, TN (formerly of Iuka, MS), died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis. She loved going on cruises, and playing in casinos. She loved her pets, and loved NASCAR. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Friday, January 17 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Haskell Sparks. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Lambert, Kevin Robertson, Joel Robertson, Jason Robertson, Jeff Barnes, and Richie Booker. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Anthony Smith (Terry) of Iuka; her special friend, Ronnie Clayton of Moscow, TN; 2 brothers – Jimmie Harold Laxson (Maxine) of Arlington, TX; and Henry Doyel Laxson (Cindy) of Argyle, TX; 1 sister – Billie Gail Barnette (Mike) of Orlando, FL; 2 step grandchildren – Shelia Malloy (Billy) of New Jersey and Josepth Luiso (Marci) of Florida; and 2 step great grandchildren – Joseph Luiso, III of Tyler, TX and Hailey Luiso of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Louise Laxson, and her daughter, Angela Brumley. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
