Andrew “Buck” Lovelace, Jr. was born on August 22, 1931, in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. He passed away on August 23, 2025, at the Mississippi Care Center in Corinth, Mississippi. He was a member of Grace Bible Church and worked as a carpenter and millwright. He proudly served his country as a U. S. Army veteran, having served overseas during the Korean War. Throughout his life, Buck enjoyed various hobbies, particularly fishing and camping with his beloved grandchildren.
Buck is survived by his two sons, Danny Lovelace (Videnda) and Ricky Lovelace (Deborah); one daughter, Sandra Lovelace; one brother, James Avon Lovelace; seven grandchildren, Brad Davis, Heath Lovelace, Joshua Crane, April Davis, Heather Lovelace, Kelly Bennett, and Bethany Cheaves; a great-grandson, Caleb Buse; and ten other great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Brown Lovelace; a son, Michael Terry Lovelace; his parents, Andrew and Hester Lambert Lovelace; and his siblings.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS, is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Gary Dawson. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers include Caleb Buse, Braden Davis, Dylan Davis, Dalton Lovelace, and Preston Lovelace. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
