Alpha Elaine Cockrell, age 100, of Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday October 17, 2013. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, and will be remembered as a caretaker that looked after everyone.
Her visitation will be on Saturday October 19, 2013 from 12:00Noon – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with her service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Dr. Don Wright officiating, burial to follow at Henryfield Cemetery in the Ashridge Community.
She is survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Pulliam Cockrell; sisters, Dena Batchelor, Laura Peppers and Agnes Lovett.
