Alice Tribble Waddell, age 79 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Waddell was born June 3, 1941 to George Tribble and Lucy Haggard Tribble.
She is survived by her husband, Houston Waddell; daughter, Tammy Waddell; sons, William Franklin “Frankie” Waddell (Sheree) and Johnny Waddell (Nicole); 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Ed Tribble (Lura); sister, Doris Moss (Billy); several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Douglas Waddell; several brothers and sisters.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Waddell will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Higgins Cemetery with Stanley McNatt and Marshall Norman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home prior to the graveside.
Pallbearers are Billy Ray Moss, Michael Pullum, Michael Moss, Wesley Waddell, Dwight Moss and Randy Moss. Honorary pallbearer is Mitchell Prater.
