Alice Almeda Yerbey Sheffield, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017. The visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Almeda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tuscumbia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Mary Alice Yerbey; husband, Curtis Sheffield; and brother, Melburn Yerbey.
She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Perez (Carlos); sister, Carolyn Holt; grandchildren, Chase McDougal (Kristin) and MeLeah Suddith (Joe); and great-grandchild, Allisyn Suddith.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
