Funeral services for Alex Dabbs, age 11, are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, January 11, 2016 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Smith, Bro. Brent McMinn, and Bro. Terry Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Alex passed away Saturday in Memphis. He was born January 25, 2005 in Jackson. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, an honor roll student at South Haven Elementary and a member of Beta Club. He enjoyed performing magic tricks. Alex loved dogs, and looked forward to becoming a veterinarian. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Pam Taylor. Survivors include his parents, Roger and Delaine Dabbs of Huron; his brother, Jordan Ray Dabbs of Huron; his grandmother, Agnes Dabbs of Darden; his Aunt and Uncles, Denae (Jerome) Henderson and Eric Dabbs; and his cousins, Daniel and Kasey Henderson. The family will receive friends at Chapel Hill Baptist Church beginning at 1 PM on Tuesday and continuing until time of service on Wednesday.
