Funeral service for Alder Mae (Terry) Terry, age 97, of Moulton will be today, September 14, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Wood and Scottie Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Terry, who died September 13, 2014, at her residence was born June 6, 1917, to Sherman Terry and Della Mardis Terry in Lawrence County. Her work experience was with Kings Department Store as a sales person. She was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harbin Miles Terry; her parents; a daughter, Sandra Delane Terry; brothers, Sherman Terry Jr., Billy D. Terry; sisters, Audrey Speake, Berlin Terry, and Ertha Bell Terry.
Survivors include a son, Roger Terry (Beth); a daughter, Barbara Glenn (James) both of Moulton; a grandson, Tim Glenn of Tallahassee, Fl; a granddaughter, Candice Terry Hagler (Carlton) of Jasper; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Buron Norwood and Bernice Owens (Mervin); a brother, Charles Terry (Ana); and special care givers, Amy Hamilton and Melody Gallant.
Pallbearers will be Lowell Thompson, Franklin Terry, Bill Dwight Terry, Gary Terry, Bud Payne and Todd Thompson.
