alanAlan Lewis Skinner, known by his friends as “Skinner”, 41, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Skinner was employed at Lambert’s Auto Salvage in Booneville. He loved to ride motorcycles. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Joel Tittle. Interment will follow in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tommy Page, Boo Glidewell, John Patrick, Kerry Lambert, Blake Burcham, Shon Price, Joey Hughes, and Jeff Burcham. Honorary Pallbearers include his co-workers at Lambert’s Auto Salvage. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his parents, Albert and Geneva Skinner of Burnsville, MS; two sisters, Bridgett Burcham (Jeff) and Mandy Rooker (Roy), all of Iuka, MS; and four nieces and nephews, Erica Burcham, Blake Burcham (Kaycee), Austin Rooker, and Ashton Rooker, all of Iuka, MS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Esther Whitfield Skinner, and William Clinton and Ruth Fowler Bingham.
