Alabama’s Top Cross Country Runners Headed to Oakville Indian Mound Park for AHSAA’s Cross Country State Championship November 6

Alabama AHSAA Cross Country State Championships LAWRENCE COUNTY– Hosted by the Jesse Owens Runners’ Club, the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s (AHSAA) Cross Country State Championship returns to Lawrence County November 6, 2021, for its twentieth consecutive appearance in North Alabama. Approximately 2,000 elite runners from across the state will take part in the race to be held on the championship course located on the grounds of the Oakville Indian Mounds Education Center. The first race begins at 8:30 a.m.

8:30 a.m. 7A Girls
8:50 a.m. 6A Boys
9:10 a.m. 3A Girls
9:30 a.m. 7A Boys
9:50 a.m. 6A Girls
10:10 a.m. 3A Boys
10:15 a.m. 7A Awards
10:30 a.m. 1A-2A Girls
10:45 a.m. 6A Awards
10:50 a.m. 5A Boys
11:10 a.m. 4A Girls
11:15 a.m. 3A Awards
11:30 a.m. 1A-2A Boys
11:50 a.m. 5A Girls
12:10 p.m. 4A Boys
12:50 p.m. 1A, 2A, 4A, 5A Awards

Admission is $12 per person (plus fees) through GoFan (gofan.co). Pets and bicycles are not allowed in the venue on race day.

Oakville Indian Mounds Education Center is located approximately 7 miles southeast of Moulton, just off of Alabama Highway 157 and one-half mile from the Jesse Owens Memorial Park at 1219 Country Road 187.
