Funeral services for Agnes Southern Tucker, 82, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 10th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Revs. Vernon Willis and Layne Howard officiating with interment in Enon Baptist Cemetery. The body will lie in state from noon-2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Tucker passed away April 8, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 20, 1932 to parents, Robert and Etta Waits Southern. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanette Nails; brothers-in-law, Rev. Joe Burrow and Aubie Jones.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, John Tucker; son Quinnon (Debbie) Tucker; daughter, Marion Raceene (Charles) Peak; brothers, Cecil (Lucy) Southern and Gary (Pam) Southern; sisters, Shelby Jones, Shirley (James) Livingston, Sue (Melvin) Shaffer, Joyce Burrow, Linda Cathey; grandchildren, Chuck Peak and Jenny (Eric) Pendley; great-grandchildren, Carson Peak, Brody Peak, Molly Pendley and Tucker Brack Pendley; brother-in-law, Rev. Wayne Nails; special little friend, Daisy McGraw; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday morning from 10-11 a.m.
