Mrs. Agnes Lee Britton, 88, of Rogersville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at her residence. Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens. Visitation will be noon until service time at the funeral home. Officiating is Warren Glass. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Anderson.
Mrs. Britton was a member of New Georgia Church of Christ. She is survived by son, Robert Branson Embry, of Rogersville, Ala.; brother, James Adams and wife, Joan, of Lexington, Ala.; two grandchildren, Regina Embry, of Gainsville, Fla., and Eric Embry and wife, Tammy, of Athens, Ala.; two great-granddaughters, Morgan and Madelyn Embry; stepdaughter, Linda Ezell and husband, Ronald, of Rogersville, Ala.; stepson, Larry Britton, Rogersville, Ala.; two stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Embry, Eric Embry, Doyce Richardson, Derrick Richardson, Larry Wells and Tom Miller.
