Agnes Eva McGuire Burleigh Handley, 93, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born in Frederic, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Mae Buse McGuire.
Mrs. Handley graduated from St. Michael’s Catholic School in Flint, Michigan and had been the personnel manager of Kresge. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Dee Handley of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Robert Burleigh and wife, Sharon of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Burleigh and wife, Evylen of Flint, Michigan, Colleen Batson and husband, John of Flint, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Mrs. Handley was preceded in death by her first husband, George Burleigh; brothers, Frank McGuire, Hank McGuire, Andrew McGuire, and Timothy McGuire; sisters, Katherine Wisdom and Rosemary McGuire; granddaughter, Casey Butterfield.
