Donald “Donnie” Glenn Glassco, age 77, passed away on April 29, 2026.
Donnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a devoted friend. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. Raised in a close-knit family, he carried those strong family values with him throughout his life. Donnie spent his life working as a cattle farmer, a job he took great pride in, and one that reflected his hardworking and steady nature.
He married the love of his life, Jo Ann, and together they built a life centered around family. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his loved ones, and the legacy he leaves behind is one of compassion, strength, and resilience.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Glassco; his son, Donnie Keith (Tracey) Glassco; grandchildren, Brian Keith (Breanne) Glassco and Jessica Nicole Glassco; and his great-grandson, Lucas Matthew Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Autrey and Myrtice Glassco.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM, with Donnie lying in state from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Bro. Adam Fielder will be officiating. Burial will follow at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Albertville.
Pallbearers will be Ross Davis, Scott Duckett, Micah Glassco, Lynn Patterson, Derek Luster, and Keith Duke.
