Lucille Fitzgerald, 67 of Joppa passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born February 15, 1959, in West Memphis, Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel E. Huffstutler and Jessie Bolding Huffstutler. She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and married to Hershel Lee Fitzgerald who passed away August 2, 2018.
She is survived by her children: Janice Fitzgerald, Shannon Phillips, Jennifer Haggard, Angela Dyer, Sherry Fitzgerald, Jeff Jones, Tony Fitzgerald, Adam Law, Andy Fitzgerald, Darrel Leeper and Rolando Espinoza; siblings: William, David, Dee and Faye; twenty-one grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hershel Fitzgerald, grandson: Anthony Fitzgerald and several siblings.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Brother Bruce Harris officiating. The burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Tony, Jennifer, Sherry, Danny Ray, Adam, Darrel, Shannon, Angela, Jeff and Andy.
