Jeremy Keith Long, age 34 of Madisonville, Tennessee formerly of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Jeremy was born on February 29, 1992, in Dalton, Georgia to Gerri Lynn Hammonds and to the late James Alvin Long. He was a 2010 class graduate of Franklin County High School and was currently employed as a concrete finisher. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing by the lake or spending time with his children. Jeremy will be remembered by his family and friends for his since of humor and his infectious laugh. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Sonya Long; brother, Mitchell Long; grandmother, Lella Hammonds; and grandfather, Roy Junior Long. Jeremy is survived by his mother, Gerri Hammonds (Troy Ashley); sons, Johnathan Long and Jeremiah Miller; siblings, Jessica (Taylor) Smith, Jennifer Long, Alex (Kayla) Long; grandmother, Jane Long; grandfather, Howard (Vivian) Hammonds; nieces and nephews, Brylee, Tryton, James Wyatt, Arayla, Taylon, Blaine, Alora, and Dawson; fiancé, Kira Taylor; bonus children, Malcom and Nevaeh Davis; bonus sister, Maura Ashley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2026, 2:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
