Jimmie Doris Alexander Davis, 82, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026. Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, on Friday, May 1, from 11 until 1 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Michael South officiating. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Jimmie loved God, her family, and had an unbreakable bond with her siblings. She loved big and loud and she loved only one man for 60 years. She retired from Colbert County Schools as a bus driver and was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Price and Elizabeth Alexander; brothers, Tom Alexander and William Alexander; and sister Linda Sue Cobb.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. “Bobby” Davis, Jr.; children, Robert L. “Robby” Davis III (Paula), William Davis (Cathia Ann), and Tonda Neal (Tim); brother Phillip Alexander (Kay); sisters, Lavera White and Carolyn Davis; grandchildren, Josh Waldrep (Haylee); Jordan Davis, Macy Davis, Erin McIntyre (Conner), Emily Gonzalez (Edwin), Andrew Neal (Breanna), Cody Kidwell (Elizabeth), and Kimberly Mitchell (Thomas); great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Oakleigh, Paisley, Lexi Kate, Julianna, Izzy, Conleigh, Ellie, Zander, Millie, Levi, Cohen, Lawson, and Elijah.
The family gives a special thank you to Killen Police, Killen Fire, Air Evac, Life Guard, and the doctors and nurses at Huntsville Hospital STICU.
