Ronnie Neal Knight, a lifelong resident of McNairy County and a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, passed away at the age of 68. Born on February 14, 1958, to George Ebern and Flora Laverne Sanders Knight, Ronnie grew up with a deep connection to his community and a heart for his neighbors. On January 14, 2000, he married Marilyn Carr Knight, and together they built a life centered on faith and family. Throughout his life, Ronnie was a skilled brick layer in residential construction, leaving a lasting mark on the homes and lives of many within his community.

Ronnie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee. He was a man of steady habits and quiet contentment, known for the meticulous care he took in tending his yard and his love for the timeless stories of the Old West found in his favorite western movies. Perhaps his favorite part of each day, however, was his trip to the Michie Quick Stop. There, he was a familiar and welcome face, spending time catching up and visiting with friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Marilyn Knight; his sister, Renee Knight Bivens and her husband Duane of Biloxi, MS; and his nephew, Conner Bivens of Biloxi, MS. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, George and Flora Knight. He leaves behind a community that will miss his steady presence, his craftsmanship, and the kindness he shared with everyone he met.
