Catherine Gloria Heath Teasley departed this life on April 19. 2026. She was 94 years old. She was born June 6, 1931, in McRae, Georgia to the late Joe Rufus Heath and Gladys Grace Heath.
Mrs. Teasley was a graduate of Americus High School in Americus, Georgia. She graduated from Athens College in 1969 and did post-graduate work at the University of Alabama and Alabama A & M.
She married her husband, Ralph Bratton Teasley Jr, on December 21, 1950. They were married for 65 years,
Mrs. Teasley taught school in Madison County and Huntsville and ended up her career teaching special education in Jackson County.
Mrs. Teasley and her husband, Ralph, were active in Holmes Street Methodist Church for 58 years and made many lifelong relationships. She and Ralph were avid bridge players and made many friends at the bridge table that were dear to their hearts.
She loved traveling and visited the Holy Land, China, Hawaii, Europe, Mexico and South America. She enjoyed getting to know the people of each country.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ralph B Teasley, Jr and son, Ralph B Teasley III. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jane Teasley of Marietta, Georgia and Charles and Inna Teasley of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Frank Meszaros of Houston, Texas; and two grandsons, Stephen and Michael Teasley.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
