Dorothy M. Wright, age 84, of Albertville, passed away on April 16, 2026.
She is survived by her son, Danny Edward Wright (DEW III) and his wife, Sheila Wright; her sister, Faye Strong; her grandchildren, Allison Wright Glassco and Micah, Daniel Evan Wright (DEW V) and Haley, Deric Elijah Wright (DEW VI) and Krista, Devin Erik Wright (DEW VII) and Sidney, and Dawson Erwin Wright (DEW VIII); a special granddaughter-in-love, Donna Garmon; great-grandchildren, Grace Jacobs, Lexi Morgan and her husband, Kaleb, Avery Wright, Daniel “Evan” Wright (DEW X), Daxton Edwin Wright (DEW IX), and Katherine Jo Wright; a great-great-grandchild, Scotti Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Reverend Deric “Edwin” Wright (DEW II); her son, Dennis Erwin Wright (DEW IV); her parents, D.C. and Gladys Windsor; five brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Adams Brown Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Gunter and Bro. Jeff Holderfield officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Pallbearers assisting to her final resting place at Memory Hill Cemetery will include; Daniel, Deric, Devin, Dawson, Micah, Jon, Larry and Jeff.
