Charles "Charlie" Stephen MassaminiCharles “Charlie” Stephen Massimini, age 78, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on April 15, 2026. He was born on February 10, 1948.

Charlie attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the United States Army while stationed at Redstone Arsenal, where he met his future wife, Sara. He later attended the New York Institute of Technology. Following his education, he relocated to Albertville, where he spent many years working in the computer service and technology field.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Darnell Massimini; his parents, George Charles Massimini and Ruth Ida Turner Massimini; and his brother, David Massimini.

He is survived by his brothers, Phillip Massimini and George Massimini; and several nieces and nephews, including Lynn Darnell, Carlene Garrett, Tony Massimini, David Massimini (Ali), Tina Massimini, and Tiffany Massimini, along with a host of loving great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members. And, his very special friend Myra Pankey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Adams Brown Service Chapel with Bro. Lynn Darnell officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan Garrett, Noah Garrett, Brody Darnell, Hayden Darnell, and Austin Lee.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Poplar Springs Cemetery fund. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home assisting the family.
