Mr. Shannon Lee Mims passed away on April 8, 2026. He was born September 12, 1967, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to the late Woodrow and Linda Mims. He spent most of his life in Darden, Tennessee, where he worked as a carpenter and was known as a true “jack of all trades,” able to fix just about anything.
Shannon was a kind, easy-going man who never wanted to be a burden to anyone. He enjoyed deer hunting and catfishing and took great pride in being an uncle, always keeping up with the lives of his nieces.
He is survived by his brother, Bruce Mims (Tammy); two nieces, Stacey Gregory and Sarah Beth Mims; and his longtime special friend of over 25 years, Kim Rhodes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, April Mims.
Shannon will be remembered for his gentle spirit, helpful nature, and the quiet way he touched the lives of those around him.
Graveside services will be held at Judson Cemetery on Saturday, April 11th at 1:00 p.m.
