Barbara Gail McKee Profile Photo  Barbara Gail McKee, born on March 16, 1950, in Iuka, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 2, 2026. She lived a full life marked by dedication, kindness, and simple pleasures.

Barbara worked for 33 years at a shoe factory, where she was known for her hard work and commitment. Beyond her career, she found joy in dancing and fishing, activities that brought her happiness and relaxation throughout her life.

She was the daughter of Odie and Grace Selman, who have preceded her in death, along with a sister and brother-in-law, Dean and Richard Usery, and one infant son. While Barbara has sadly left us, her family continues to honor her memory.

She is survived by her loving son, Andy Pruitt; her granddaughter, Magen Thigpen, who shares a close bond with Drew; her grandson, Brandon Pruitt, along with Cirena; and her great-grandchildren Kayse, Wyatt, Aiden, and Waylon, who carry forward her legacy of love.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation for Barbara will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home, located at 302 North Pearl Street in Iuka, Mississippi. The funeral service will follow on Monday, April 6, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, officiated by Bro. Jason and Bro. Johnny Gwatney. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Selman, Drew Thigpin, Danny Woodruff, Gary Lambert, Robbie Marlar, and Kim Grimes.

Barbara Gail McKee will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to family, and the simple joys she cherished. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to the hospice nurses which helped to care for Barbara.
