Enoch Eugene HammondEnoch Eugene Hammond, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Arab, Alabama on the morning of April 3, 2026. He had been a resident of Arab for five years, previously living in Boaz, Alabama, where he was born on February 21, 1941, to Raymond Hammond and Velma Hooper Hammond. Enoch was united in marriage to Linda Ray Walker Hammond in 1962, and together they enjoyed more than sixty-three years of partnership.

A man of strong Baptist faith Enoch attended Little Mountain Marina Church and enjoyed The Fellowship in Albertville, Alabama. He also belonged to several RV travel clubs, reflecting his love for adventure.

Enoch dedicated 25 years to Gold Kist Poultry and spent 10 years working with Tyson Poultry. He served his community as a Marshall County school bus driver for 13 years and was the proud owner of R&L Pallet Company for 35 years. His commitment to his work and service was evident throughout his life.

He cherished spending winters in Florida and created many fond memories with family and friends.
Enoch is survived by his wife, Linda W. Hammond; Sons, Rickey Eugene Hammond (Cindy); Daughter, Tammy Ray Bouldin (Delynn); grandchildren, John Bouldin (Meryll), Nathan Bouldin, Patrick Hammond (Kimberly), Brady Bouldin (Lauren) and Kathryn Hammond; great grandchildren, Theo Bouldin, Benji Bouldin and Percy Boulding; special family members, Gayle an John Eason; brother in law, Paul Lang; two nieces and two nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Velma and Raymond Hammond, In-laws, Grace and Ray Walker, and sister in law, Patsy Lang.

Service will be Monday, April 6, 2026 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, with Brother Bill Lackey and Brother Mike Ivey officiating. Serving as pallbearers and escorting Enoch to his final resting place in Arab Memorial Cemetery will be Ricky Hammond, Delynn Bouldin, John Bouldin, Nathan Bouldin, Patrick, Hammond, Brady Bouldin and Gerald Pate. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting with arrangements.
