Boaz Teen Dies From Injuries Received In Single-Vehicle Accident

MARSHALL COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Albertville has taken the life of a Boaz teen:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12 p.m. Thursday, April 2, has claimed the life of a Boaz teen.

The 16-year-old was fatally injured when the 1996 Dodge Dokota that the juvenile was driving, left the roadway and struck a tree. The teen was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Old McVille Road near Gaines Circle, approximately seven miles east of Albertville, in Marshall County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
