Thomas Charles Combs, 69, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his home.
He was born on October 10, 1956, to Mr. Franklin Thomas Combs and Mrs. Patricia Ann Johns Combs.
Thomas spent half his life in the Elkmont, Alabama community and was a member of Community Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his shows.
He was preceded in both of his parents, as well as one brother, Mitchell Combs.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christy Harwell Combs, three sons: Thomas (Jody) Combs, Jr., Levi (Amber) Combs, and Caleb (Kenzie) Combs, one brother, Jeff (Cindy) Combs, one sister, Mickey Combs, as well as eight grandchildren: TC, Landen, Connor, Blake, Leiden, Kian, Kooper, and Ember.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Combs held at Community Baptist Church in Elkmont, Alabama on Sunday, April 12, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life service to follow beginning at 3:30 PM. Bro. Steve Hargrove will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Community Baptist Church Children’s Ministry. Donation can be sent to 28480 Lambert Rd. Ardmore, Alabama 35739, because ALL GOD’S CHILDREN NEED JESUS.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
