Thomas Charles “Charlie” Spears, age 33 of Dutton, Alabama passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 at his home.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Scottsboro Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. A memorial service celebrating his life will follow at 3 p.m.
Charlie is survived by his parents, T.J. and Tara Spears; grandmother, Teddie Fitz; aunts, Dee Ashley and Kathy Sheldon; uncles, Bud Fairbanks, Joe Spears, Jimmy Spears, Ivan Spears, and Barry Sheldon; cousins, Stephanie Shelton, Joey Spears, Jason Spears, Owen Fairbanks, Avery Fairbanks, Brandon Spears, and Brittany Spears; and best friends, Cody Yates, Curtis Sharp, and Breanna Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Boyles, Charles Spears, Jeanette Trion, and Donald Fairbanks; and aunts and uncles, Raymond “Manny” Fairbanks, Chuck Spears, David Spears, Jackie Miller, Shirley Spears, Darrel Covington, Linda Kelly, and Peggy Summers.
