Tommie Lou McLarty, age 83 of Arley, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at her residence.
Tommie Lou was a woman who lived a life of love, faith, and quiet strength. A devoted caretaker and homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her family and creating a home that was always warm and welcoming. She was a talented gardener, a wonderful cook, and someone who seemed able to do just about anything—whether it was at the stove, with a needle and thread, or tending to her garden.
Her faith guided her life, and her kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her. Through her love, wisdom, and the simple joys she shared, she built a beautiful family and left a legacy that will live on in each of them. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Arley First Baptist Church Cemetery. Steton Hayes will officiate.
Mrs. McLarty was preceded in death by her Husband-Doug McLarty; Parents-Perry Fuller and Erselle Waldrop Fuller; Brother-Gayle Fuller; Son-in-law-Joey Hall.
She is survived by her Daughters-Kim Cutcher (Dusty) and Kellie Rodel (Chris); Son-Jeff McLarty (Beth); Grandchildren-Cody Hall (Kayla), Ryan Hall (Emily), Lauren Walker (Ryan), Summer Reed (Josh), Lacey Stewart, John Blake Stewart, Mabel Rodel and Emmaline Rodel; Great Grandchildren-Audrey Hall, Eleanor Hall, Blakelyn Hall, Harper Hall, Baisley Hall, Saylor Reed, Dawson Walker, Jaxson Walker and Parker Reed.
