Betty Faye Lively Rice, 92 of Bagley, passed away Thursday February 19, 2026 at her residence.
Mrs. Rice was a member of New Temple Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was retired from Alabama Power Co. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was loved dearly by her family.
Funeral services will be Monday February 23, 26 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 1-2 pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Marvin Rice, her parents, Fronie Lively and Rev. Thedford and Pearl Lively, and a brother, John M. Lively.
Survivors include her son, Phillip Rice, daughter, Anita McMichens and husband Owen, grandchildren, Sarah and Will McMichens; several other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Enhabit Home Health and Enhabit Hospice Care for the love and care that was given to her and shown to her family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to New Temple Baptist Church building fund at 4501 Greathouse Road Dora, AL 35062.
