Michael David “Red” Boyd, 43 of Adamsville, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Callie; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Chris McGuire; grandparents, Mary Lee Boyd and William Boyd, Mary Carol Sykes (James) and Clyde Lawley (Jonnie). He was the quality control officer of Boyd Plumbing and Gas.
Red is survived by his parents, Kay and David Boyd; children, Bevon, Briley, Destiny, and Mackenzie; brothers, Jesse and Cooper Boyd; grandson, Sawyer Milan; niece, Jayden McGuire as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Michael David “Red” Boyd will be held on Sunday February 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Nathaniel Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
