Myra J. Robinson, 78, of Huntsville passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital. Myra was born on January 25, 1948, in Stevenson, Alabama to J.L. and Elizabeth Ann Thomas.

Myra received an associate’s degree from the University of Alabama. She worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority in Huntsville for 33 years as an administrative assistant. During the later part of her career, she also did tax preparation through H&R Block, which she continued even after retiring from TVA.

Myra was deeply devoted to her family – not only to her biological children, but also her children by marriage. She enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events, going camping, and traveling. She was also passionate about community service. Myra volunteered as a den leader for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She served as church council president for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She led many charity drives through TVA and through her church community.

Myra is survived by her husband, Ron Robinson; children, Bill, Scott, Jay, and Patti; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Ann; nieces; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Will Starkweather officiating. She will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery
