Mr. Tommy Kay Dawson, age 75, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on January 30, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1950, in Tennessee, to the late Robert Dawson and Vera Smith Dawson.
Tommy was a hardworking man who spent much of his life in the flooring industry. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Above all, Tommy cherished his family and the time spent with those he loved most.
He is survived by his children, Keith Dawson, Tommy Dawson (Christie), and Gracie Dawson (Luis); step-children, Kevin Rogers and Tiffany Hall (Stephen); grandchildren, Katy Snyder (Paul), Nicole Gilbreath (Johny), Samantha Adams (Cody), Zac Dawson (Amber), Christopher Hall, Aleigha Rogers, Bentley White, Blakely White, and Brinlee Carrizal; and great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Gavin, Abigail, Millie, Logan, Dixson, Joshua, Spencer, Ian, and Max. He is also survived by his siblings, Glenda Parker, Junior Dawson (Joyce), Woody Dawson, Larry Dawson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Dawson; his brother, Jimmy Dawson; and his son, Anthony Dawson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Liberty at Painter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zac Dawson, Brad Dawson, Randall Dawson, Timmy Insho, Kevin Rogers, and Eric Dawson.
