Cathy Lynne Morris, 63, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her home in the Troy community. Lynne was a loving, beautiful soul who loved God above all else and cherished her family more than anything. She enjoyed watching TV, especially cooking shows and online auctions. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time with her dogs and baking with her grandchildren. She was a strong, amazing friend, mother, sister, and grandmother to those she leaves behind, and she will be deeply missed every moment of every day.
Lynne is lovingly remembered by her children, Elaina Waters (Jonathan) and Chad Morris; her grandchildren, Bella Miller (Tae), Blake Hight (Stephanie), Ally Morris (Caleb), Zac Morris, Hope Waters, and Ryder Waters; her great-grandchildren, Honey Miller, Rugar Miller, Alaiya Miller, and Jaxon Morris; her siblings, Jim Gann (Felicia) and Diane Carroll (Matt); and many beloved nieces and nephews she adored.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Morris; her parents, Roy Gann and Elaine Gann; and her brother, Bill Gann.
The funeral service is set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Anthony Holmes officiating. Visitation will take place Friday evening from 5 to 8 PM, and again on Saturday afternoon from 1 PM until the service begins. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derek Morris, Joseph Jeter, Lane Foster, Erik Devauld, CJ Scherff, and Tristan Dickson.
