Gertrude Rogers Guthrie, age 85, of Parrish, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026 surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery in Parrish. Joey Sparks will officiate.
Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her Husband-Don Guthrie, Sr.; her Parents-John and Cyndie Rogers; her Sisters-Beatrice Smith and Jewell Haskett and Brother-Jimmy Rodgers.
She is survived by her Sons-Don Guthrie, Jr. (Susan) of Parrish and Scott Guthrie (Deanne) of Vestavia Hills; Granddaughters-Brittany Pruitt (Brad), Ashley Bowers (David) and Caroline Guthrie; Great-Grandson Dax Bowers who affectionately called her GiGi, and her Brother- Johnny Rodgers of Dora.
