Scott Denson Day, 66 of Athens, passed away on Monday, January 19th, 2026, at Hospice Family Care. Mr. Day was born on August 21st, 1959, in Athens, to Carmel Day and June Evelyn Denson Day.
Mr. Day is survived by his son Jamie Day; daughter Brook Day; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers James and Steve Day; and sister Patricia Gilbert.
Friends and family are invited to gather to pay their respects at the visitation for Mr. Day on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, from 9:00-11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow, officiated by Bro. Donald Terry. Mr. Day will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
