Jason Edward Ruf, aged 49, of Hartselle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, January 18th, 2026. He was born on April 16th, 1976, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late Marvin Edward Ruf and Patsy Vining Ruf.
Jason will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Justin Ruf, and his sister-in-law, Karla. He also leaves behind his cherished nephews, Jaden Ruf and Jonas Ruf, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Patsy Ruf.
A graveside service to celebrate and honor the life of Jason will be held on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026. The service will commence at 2:00 pm at Germantown Cemetery, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Jason’s memory to Volunteers of America in Hartselle, Alabama.
