Mary Marvelene Heard, 95, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 12,2026, in Ardmore, Tennessee.
She was born on Saturday, December 13, 1930, to the late Mr. Marvin Lee Mullins and Mrs. Mary Whitman Mullins in Lincoln County, Tennessee.
She lived all her life in Tennessee. Mary was a member of Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church in Ardmore, Tennessee.
She loved spending time with her flowers as well as in her garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Houston Heard, both of her parents, son, Donas Heard, brother, Dalton Mullins, and sister, Lois “Lady” Thorpe.
She is survived by one son; Dale (Donna) Heard, one daughter; Debbie Heard, one brother, Louis Mullins, one daughter-in-law, Mitzi Heard, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as several great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, located in Ardmore, Alabama. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with Bro. Michael Cothren officiating. Burial will follow in Malone Cemetery, located in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
